ASB Developer Group ("we", "us") built the Football Jersey Maker app (the "App") as a free, ad-supported app. This page explains what information is collected when you use the App, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Summary

  • The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
  • Your designs, scores, streaks and settings are stored only on your device.
  • Photos you use in Cartoon Me are processed only on your device and are never uploaded.
  • The App shows ads. Our advertising partners collect certain device and usage information to show, measure and protect ads, as described below.

Information Stored on Your Device

The following stays on your device and is not sent to us:

  • Your designs and saved jerseys (My Jerseys), including names, numbers, colours and crests you add.
  • Game progress: Daily Challenge results, streaks and Trivia high scores.
  • Settings: theme, reminder times and similar preferences.

If you uninstall the App or clear its data, this information is deleted from your device.

Camera and Photos

If you choose to use Cartoon Me or upload a crest, the App asks for access to your camera or photos. The selected photo is processed entirely on your device (including face detection and background removal) to create your image. Your photos are not uploaded to us or to any third party. Images you choose to save are stored in your device's photo gallery, and images you choose to share are sent only to the app you pick (for example, WhatsApp or Instagram).

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App schedules optional reminders (for example, Kit of the Day and your Daily Challenge streak) locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us. You can change or turn off reminders in the App's Settings or in your device settings at any time.

Advertising and Information Collected by Our Partners

The App uses the Appodeal advertising platform and its mediation partners (third-party ad networks such as Google AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource / LevelPlay, Mintegral, Pangle, Meta Audience Network, Liftoff / Vungle, InMobi, Yandex, myTarget, BidMachine and Amazon) to show ads. When ads are requested and shown, these partners may automatically collect and receive:

  • Device and other identifiers: the Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA (where permitted), app set ID and similar identifiers.
  • Approximate location: derived from your IP address (not precise GPS location).
  • App interactions: for example, ads viewed or tapped, and app launches.
  • Device information: such as device model, operating system version, language and network type.
  • Diagnostics and crash data: such as ad and app performance information and error logs.

This information is used to show ads (including personalised ads where you have allowed it), measure ad performance, limit how often you see the same ad, analyse usage, and prevent fraud and abuse. These partners are independent companies and process this information under their own privacy policies. You can learn more here:

All information sent by the App and its advertising partners is transmitted over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Your Choices

  • Personalised ads (Android): you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in your device's Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
  • Tracking (iOS): the App asks for your permission before tracking. You can change this anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Consent (EEA, UK and other regions): where required by law, you are asked for consent for personalised ads, and you can change your choice later.
  • Camera, photos and notifications: you can allow or deny these permissions at any time in your device settings. The rest of the App keeps working.

Data Retention and Deletion

We do not run our own servers that store your personal information, and the App has no user accounts. Data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data. Information collected by advertising partners is retained according to their own policies. To request deletion of data held by a partner, please use the options in that partner's privacy policy, or contact us and we will help where we can.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take the necessary steps.

Security

We use commercially acceptable means to protect information, including encrypted connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App may contain links or ads that lead to other sites or apps. These are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Unofficial Fan App

Football Jersey Maker is an unofficial, fan-made app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, club, player or organization.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
